Hello! My name is Aida, and I was born in Baguio, Philippines — known as the city of pines. Growing up in the midst of mountains, nature was my playground, and the outdoors has been a big part of my life since childhood and continues to be today. At age 11, we moved to BC. I felt lost and out of place, yearning to fit in. I had no idea how much this new environment would shape my journey. Surrounded by nature, I discovered my love for photography, which helped me connect with the world and express myself. Through this journey, I found my passion and a sense of belonging.
My deep love for photography began during my high school years when my sister and I would spend hours together over photography— a passion that still connects us today. I was also that friend who always had a camera, ready to capture the big moments and the little ones. I feel truly fortunate to be able to wake up each day and do what I love—telling stories through photography and connecting with incredible people along the way. Every moment I capture is a reminder of how lucky I am to turn my passion into a lifelong journey, and I am deeply grateful for every opportunity to share that with others.
